Vintage aquamarine and diamond ring. Set with a rectangular emerald-cut natural unenhanced aquamarine in an open back corner claw setting with an approximate weight of 13.70 carats, flanked by four vertically set rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats, further set with ten round old single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to a geometric conforming openwork gallery with intricate backholing, flanked by trumpeted shoulders and flowing down to a solid tapered flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950.
