Victorian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, further encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.60 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and round open backholing, flanked by trumpeting openwork shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested rose gold, circa 1890, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79222-01.
