Victorian diamond five stone ring. Set horizontally to centre with five graduating round old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.75 carats, to a tapering five stone design featuring a central elliptical recess, a polished gallery and open circular backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct makers mark, circa 1880.
