Victorian diamond brooch. Set to centre with a cushion shape rose cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.25 carats, to an oval brooch with a raised central plaque engraved with an eight-pointed star, set at four equidistant points with granulated foliate forms, and enclosed within a series of fine ropework and granulated borders, fitted to reverse with a removable glass door, and with a secure pin and scroll clasp and secure circular suspension loop. Tested yellow gold, English, circa 1880.
