Set horizontally to centre with a single row of twenty rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by two horizontal rows of graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, twenty in total with a combined weight of 1.80 carats in open back rubover settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.20 carats, to an elegant three row stepped design featuring polished borders, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and tapering to solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat, signed 'VCA' for Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered '453 H-15', American, circa 1970s.
