Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, flanked to either side by two marquise shape old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, four in total with a combined weight of 0.08 carats and further set to either side with a rectangular baguette cut diamond in open back rubover settings, the two with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.78 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire with corner claws, a pierced openwork gallery and intricate backholing, the shoulders featuring petal shaped motifs, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930.
