Art Deco diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.05 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.25 carats, to a flanked solitaire design, featuring tri-split corner claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, flanked by angular grooved shoulders with millegrain edging and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1925.
