Diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover gypsy setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, to a heavy bombé design with polished edges and round open backholing, flanked by smoothly conforming shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked platinum, indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1930.
