A matching pair, each set to centre with one round old cut natural unenhanced Madagascar sapphire, two in total, in an open back claw setting with a combined approximate weight of 3.40 carats, each encircled by a single row of ten round brilliant cut diamonds, twenty in total, in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.40 carats, to a cluster design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, fitted to reverse with secure post and butterfly fittings. Tested 18 carat white and yellow gold, circa 1990, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5782-1256.
