Sapphire and diamond Art Deco ring. Set with an octagonal emerald-cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats and further set with eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.96 carats, to an attractive three stone design with a delicate openwork gallery with chevron design and intricate backholing, the shoulders leading down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1935.
