Ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set slightly raised to centre with a round old cut natural unenhanced ruby with an approximate weight of 2.20 carats in an open back yellow gold claw setting, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back platinum claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.40 carats, to a graduated three stone form with a structured openwork gallery and intricate circular backholing, tapering down to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #10140.
