Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, encircled by a single row of ten round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.25 carat, to an oval coronet cluster featuring elegant curving claws, stylised pierced gallery and circular backholing, the square shoulders include a central incised detail which continues to a slim shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '199', English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemresearch Swisslab report #GRS2016-021500.
