Antique diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to an illusion set solitaire featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised inwardly tapering shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape tapered shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920.
