Set to center with an octagonal emerald-cut natural unenhanced pink Madagascan sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.10 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws and polished edges, a linear pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1980, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-417.
