Natural Pigeon Blood Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced pigeon's blood Burmese ruby in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.03 carats, flanked by two trapezium shape baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, all to an openwork gallery with elegant curved piercing and open backholing, conforming smoothly to the finger with filled cheniers to the gently sloping supportive shoulders, leading to a solid D-shape tapered shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab (GRS) report #110165T.
