Padparadscha sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Padparadscha Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.67 carats, flanked by eighteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring millegrain decoration, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to split shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3518.
