Set with an oval mixed cut natural emerald in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, encircled by four round mixed cut emeralds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.46 carats, alternated by four oval brilliant cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.53 carats. The total approximate emerald weight is 1.36 carats, to an elegant oval floral cluster with scalloped edging, an openwork conforming gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by raised ridged shoulders tapering down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, numbered '38506', American, circa 1970.
