Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.65 carats, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.71 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders, flowing though to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905.
