Old mine diamond carved solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.13 carats, to an ornate solitaire design featuring polished edges, an intricately carved solid gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by broad integrated shoulders featuring carved floral decoration which terminates before flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct makers mark, French, circa 1900.
