Set with twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, further set with twelve calibre baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to an openwork interlocking loop design, with intricate pierced backholing and smoothly conforming shoulders which lead through to a solid tapering D-shape shank with groove detail. Marked platinum and iridium, maker's mark 'J.E.C &Co.', numbered 'S9982', American, circa 1960s.
