Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open backrubover setting with a weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain and cutdown settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.20 carats, to an attractive circular cluster with an intricately pierced gallery and fancy backholing, the gracefully sloping shoulders leading though to a tapering D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, French, circa 1950.
