Description

Fancy colour diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine fancy colour cognac diamond, SI2 clarity, with a weight of 1.27 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked to either side with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.33 carats, to an elegant solitaire design with split curving claws, pierced stylised open gallery and finely shaped backholing, the raised open inwardly tapering shoulders include subtle millegrain decoration which end to chevron terminals before flowing to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by HRD Antwerp report #170002973942.
