Emerald-cut diamond solitaire ring. Set with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, F colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 1.01 carats in an open back four claw setting, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.31 carats, to a geometric design with structured openwork gallery, fancy shaped backholing and sloping shoulders which terminate in a D-shape shank. Marked 14 carat white gold, English, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #17202044.
