Set with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement to centre in an open back four claw yellow gold setting with an approximate weight of 1.56 carats, surrounded by twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a weight of 0.60 carats, further set with two round single cut diamonds on the shoulders in open back grain settings with a weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.64 carats, to a sophisticated geometric cluster with millegrain borders, openwork gallery and fancy backholing, with elegant tapered shoulders, leading smoothly to a D-shape shank. Marked palladium with yellow gold claws, maker's mark "L", English, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3077.
