Edwardian diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 2.04 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.76 carats.The total approximate diamond weight is 3.80 carats, all to an impressive three stone design featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to shoulders carved with a scrolling motif and flowing through to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6223420550.
