A matching pair, each set with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.50 carats, set to top with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, further set to center with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.52 carats, decorated further with eight round eight cut diamonds, sixteen in total with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 3.02 carats, the total approximate diamond weight is 0.52 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring flowing with movement featuring millegrain detailing, linear pierced gallery and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 3.56 cm in length. Earrings tested platinum, butterflies marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #80246-71.
