Edwardiansapphire and diamondcross over ring. Set with a cushion shape old minenatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, further set with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, further adorned with eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by trumpeting conforming shoulders with millegrain edging flowing through to a tapered grooved flat shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '5562', circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report (GCS) #81287-31.
