Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.30 carats, bordered by ten round old cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, to an elegant oval coronet cluster design with a finely pierced gallery, open backholing and tri-split shoulders which lead through to a slim D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum settings, circa 1910.
