Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further set with eleven cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.85 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to decoratively pierced shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-668.
