Set to centre with a cushionold cutnatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, surrounded by twenty cushion shape old minediamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.44 carats, flanked by six round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats to an impressive double row cluster with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shaped open backholing, flanked by tri-split shoulders leading down to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmologial Certification Services report #5783-3161.
