Edwardian ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.56 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, to an elegant three stone design with an openwork gallery, pierced backholing and smoothly conforming shoulders which lead on to a slim D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1910.
