Edwardian ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Siam ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.20 carats, encircled by sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.10 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, intricately pierced gallery with engraved details, circular backholing, flanked by raised smoothly conforming shoulders and leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked yellow gold and platinum, French import mark, numbered '53145', circa 1910.
