Description

Edwardian pearl and diamond necklace. Centrally set with one round natural saltwater pearl approximately 7.2 - 7.4 x 6.3mm in an open back setting and suspending one drop shape natural saltwater pearl approximately 8.2 - 8.3 x 9.2mm, further adorned by one hundred and twenty eight round mixed old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 5.00 carats, to an elegant articulated necklace in the form of an inverted triangle featuring Greek key design to the centre, floral motifs to the outer edges, millegrain edging and intricate open backholing, on a trace link chain, fitted to reverse with a secure c-clasp closure, approximately 14.5" in length. Tested platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by a fitted case and Gemmological Certification Services report #78147-82.
