Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond, G colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.21 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.29 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced circular gallery and shaped open backholing, flanked by open raised shoulders flowing through to a solid slim grooved shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by an International Gemological Institute report #175575658.
