Edwardian five stone ruby and diamond ring. Set with three round old cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an elegant five stone design with curving claws, carved gallery and fancy shaped backholing flowing through to trumpeting shoulders leading to a solid D shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full English hallmarks, indistinct makers mark, circa 1903.
