Edwardian five stone diamond ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, flanked by four cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.90 carats to an elegant graduated five stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open circular backholing, leading to slightly raised inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a slim D-shape shank. Tested white gold and platinum, English, circa 1910.
