Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.61 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring split curving claws, an exquisite openwork collet and circular backholing, flanked by tapering shoulders with chenier detailing leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2205623400.
