Description

Edwardian diamond ring. Set to centre with a single round old cut diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.08 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #6203642563.
