Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats, bordered by eighteen round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.78 carats, to an ornate crossover design with finely pierced collets and fancy backholing, bordered by swirling asymmetric shoulders and terminating in a ridged D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1910.
