Edwardian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, E colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 0.74 carats in an open back claw setting, surrounded by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.74 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, maker's mark 'A & Co.', circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6204735013.
