Description

Edwardian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back grain setting with a weight of 0.65 carats, encircled by a single row of eight round old cut diamonds in open back rubover millegrain and grain settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.45 carats, in platinum settings to a floraform cluster with intricate openwork and cheniers to the gallery, flanked by split tri-part shoulders with ridged detail to a solid D-shape tapered shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, English, circa 1905.
