Description

Edwardian conch pearl and diamond ring. Centrally set with a round natural unenhanced pink conch pearl in an open back half rubover setting, set to top and bottom with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.54 carats and flanked by eight round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.64 carats, to a vertical three stone design featuring intricately pierced circular collets, curving claws, subtle millegrain decoration and fancy backholing, the slightly trumpeting shoulders lead to a solid squared shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1905.
