Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, surrounded by a single row of twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further adorned with two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.02 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.52 carats to an elegant coronet cluster featuring millegrain edging, a pierced gallery with scalloped motifs and open circular backholing, leading to raised tri-split shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '136', circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81291-33.
