Description

Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with an octagonal old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, encircled by fourty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.65 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detailing flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested white gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2169.
