Victorian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set horizontally to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 2.20 carats, encircled by a single row of fourteen cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, to a coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately carved gallery with Fleur-de-Lis detail and open backholing, the carved shoulders tapering to a solid fluted shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1850, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5774-309.
