Art Deco drop shape diamond ring. Set to centre with a drop shape old cut diamond, G colour, SI2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.67 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.87 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting split shoulders leading smoothly through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, indistinctly numbered, American, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-7326.
