Diamond drop earrings. A matching pair, each set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back raised six claw setting, the two diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 1.80 carats, to an ornate openwork collet with curling fleur-de-lis motifs, with a secure front opening hinged back closure, approximately 1.8cm in length. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct maker's mark, numbered '746', French, circa 1890.
