Edwardian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.65 carats, surrounded by twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings, with the combined weight of 1.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.73 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail, and flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1910.
