Art Deco flanked solitaire diamond ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to a stepped geometric gallery with finely pierced backholing, the gently sloping openwork shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
