Chaumet Ceylon sapphire and diamond cocktail ring. Set centrally with one oval double brilliant cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.28 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, to a cocktail ring design, with curved stepped collet, shaped backholing, flanked by heavy diagonally angled shoulders flowing through to a tapered flat band. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, maker's mark and signed 'CHAUMET & CIE', numbered '900', engraved on the side '19 MAI 1946', French, circa 1946, accompanied by The Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #15635.
